The standard Speed Dial theme installed by default in Opera browser quickly becomes boring. If you want to refresh the appearance of the browser, there are hundreds of themes on various topics: nature, city, animals, cars, movies, cartoons, space, and more. In any modern browser, you can change the theme of Speed Dial, and Opera isn’t an exception. This guide will show how to change the Speed Dial theme in Opera browser.

How To Change The Speed Dial Theme In Opera Browser

To change Speed Dial theme in Opera browser, just follow these simple steps:

Open a browser and in the upper left corner of the move click on “Menu” button and find “Themes”.

A new window will open, where you can find following sections in the left column:

Default themes – themes that were originally installed in the browser. These themes can’t be removed;

My themes – there you can see all the themes that you installed;

Create your theme – in this section you can create your unique theme;

Get more themes – a link to a site with a variety of themes, that can be set;

Go to start page – access to the initial page with visual bookmarks.

As you may have guessed, you must click on the link “Get new themes”.

A new tab will open with the site that shows the available themes for Opera browser. There you can find a special filter that allows you to refine the search.

All themes are divided into four types: Recommended, Top rated, Popular, New and Animated.

To set the theme, you have to do a few simple tasks. Find the favorite theme first, for example, “Raindrops” in the “Animated” section.

On the new page, you can see the information about the theme. You will also see an animated preview of the chosen theme. To add a theme to the browser, just click on the button “Add to Opera”.

Then you see the progress of installation and the button “Installing”. After the installation is complete, the theme activates automatically and you can see the theme in the section “My themes”. To view the installed theme, you just have to open a new tab.
