Apple will, reportedly, launch the iPhone 14 series in September. Rumors suggest that four iPhone models will be launched as a part of this series. There are strong chances of the Cupertino- based tech company not launching a new mini iPhone this time. Instead of a mini model, the company seems to have plans of introducing an iPhone 14 Max featuring a 6.7-inch display screen.

This year, one has come across multiple leaks pertaining to the iPhone 14 series. The latest leaks has been provided by prominent Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. According to Kuo, Apple will be introducing a major camera upgrade with its upcoming smartphone series.

If Kio’s claims turn out to be accurate, the front camera of the iPhone 14 series will come with an autofocus feature. This autofocus feature will help in highlighting the subject during video calls. Those who engage in video calls or conferences regularly will benefit majorly from the addition of this feature. It would also prove to be helpful to those who click a lot of selfies using the front camera.

As per the analyst, the iPhone series will feature a front camera with a much wider aperture. The soon-to-be-launched models are expected to feature an f/1.9 front camera. Owing to the wider aperture, users might experience improved lowlight performance along with a shallower depth of field. The company could also launch a bunch of new features that would complement the new updates.

In the recent past, Apple has not made any major modification to the functioning of the front camera of the iPhone models. However, this time around, the company seems to have focused, quite literally, on the front cameras of their smartphone devices. The iPhone 14 series is expected to feature a vastly improved 12MP front camera. There is also a possibility of the devices featuring a 12MP telephoto lens along with a 12MP ultrawide camera. The non-Pro models, on the other hand, will continue to have a 12MP dual camera setup.

Another common factor between the four models will be the presence of an OLED display screen. Both the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro are expected to feature a 6.1-inch wide display screen. The Pro models will come equipped with a ProMotion display screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. These models will, most likely, be powered by the A16 chips.
