Livescribe 3 smartpen is expecting the Android support soon to make handwritten notes available in the device

The primary manufacturer of Android is going to offer the hand-written facility on the digital screen. Livescribe’s Smartpen has the feature that can convert the true hand-written notes on real paper into a digital format. This smartpen feature of Livescribe currently will have Android support, which is really an interesting fact.

Livescribe stated in CES that, they would bring an Android version of Livescribe+ app soon, but as of now it will be available only in iOS version by the spring of this year. The director of product management has said that it needs more time to get the facility in Android app than the iOS app.

They have incorporated the feature smartpen in the Livescribe 3 few years back. This feature uses the camera, processor and the microphones of the device. Using the camera and processor the ink written hand note is converted into a digital format. The microphone records the sound of the surroundings while writing in the pages. So next time when you visit the note you will notice all the sounds from the starting to ending of the writing.

Bluetooth 4.0 LE is the media through which Livescribe 3 is connected to other devices, and Android app will be well matched with all that devices having this facility. Furthermore, the devices should have 4.4 KitKat or Android 5.0 Lollipop. Android software can support ink hand written to some extent, but the hardware support is very less apart from Samsung devices.

Livescribe 3 smartphone on Android is great news for all that users of Livescribe, who love the Android platform. Livescribe 3 is best for many users as it provides cloud accessible notes that do not need any expensive digitizer. This offers a great option of modernization to some people who love writing on paper with pen.
